[edit] Use WPG2 for best results

• This plugin was designed specifically to complement WPG2, the WordPress-Gallery2 integration plugin.
• WordPress users should NOT install G2Image by itself. Instead, install WPG2. I've worked closely with Ozgreg to fully integrate G2Image with WPG2. WPG2 includes all of the required G2Image files and provides multiple advantages over using G2Image alone:
  • Automated path setup and G2 URL rewrite rule setup
  • A user interface for configuring G2Image from the WPG2 admin panels
  • WPG2 tags for your photos in blog entries. Provide long-term stability regardless of if you change Gallery2 URL rewrite rules.
  • An integrated/embedded Gallery as demonstrated on the G2Image/WPG2 Demo Page.
• If you are using any other plugins that affect the TinyMCE button layout, like the Advanced Editor Plugin, you need to check whether you'll need to add g2image to their button setup.
